[NOW ONLINE] HULA EYEWEAR - PUPUKEA
Hula Eyewear - 'Pupukea' in clear and black are now available online at nepnethesny.com
The North Shore of Oahu contains a 17-mole stretch of prime coastline from the western Ka’ena Point, to Kahuku Point in the east. Clustered with little villages, this area is considered a surfing mecca - famous for its big swells, shaved ice, and tight knit community. It is also the home base of John Esguerra, the Washington D.C. native and mind behind the venerable Hawai’ian institutions Quality Peoples, Single/Double and Number 808 Boutique.
Nepenthes New York is happy to stock products from Mr. Esguerra latest project - Hula Eyewear. This time, Nepenthes will be selling the company's 'Pupukea' model - named after a small village on the North Shore. Embodying surf culture, these shades are designed with the Hawai’ian spirit in mind, designed a minimal touch that perfectly matches a day spent in the waves.
The 'Pupukea' is available in clear and black. These glasses are constructed with acetate frames and feature olive colored lenses for keeping out the sun. The temple tips are also emblazoned with “Aloha”, a nod to Hula’s Hawai’ian roots.
Available now for purchase in-store and online, while supplies last.
