[GIFT IDEAS] #3

The weather is getting colder, and the leaves are changing colors. Here at Nepenthes New York we haven’t forgotten to think about some gift ideas as we enjoy the holiday season. We have a wide variety of items to choose from that make the perfect present. Check out some of our favorite selections below.

EG Workaday - Utility Sweat Shirt - Natural 9oz CP Fleece - The Utility Sweat Shirt features ribbing along the bottom hem and around the cuffs, for a snug and comfortable fit, in addition to the paneling on the side. The Sweat Shirt has a pouch pocket on the front, a rare feature for a crewneck. The extended stitching around this pouch pocket is a nod to vintage sweats, whose factories had no time to stop the sewing machine for a clean stitch.

Needles FW21 Neck Warmer - Merino Wool Wine - As with the other Needles Merino products from this season, this Neck Warmer is made in Japan from Merino wool. The soft knit wool is comfortable on the skin, and the tube design creates a perfect drape around the neck.

Nepenthes New York Mug Cup - Available in both a small and large size, these unique mug cups are handmade by Risa Nishimori, ceramic artist and owner of the Togei Kyoshitsu ceramic studio, located on West 30th St in Manhattan. Created using a “nerikomi” (練り込み) method, the color and shape of each of these mugs are one-of-a-kind.

Needles FW21 Beret - Faux Boa Black - This beret made from a soft and warm fake boa material. The butterfly embroidery and leather piping give it a luxurious finish.

BAGSINPROGRESS - Medium Bucket Tote Leopard - One of the most popular offerings from New York-based BAGSINPROGRESS, the Medium Bucket Tote encapsulated the brand’s ethos of creating a “tool-box” for modern life. The inside of this bag is filled with pouches and cinchable with handles at the top and a shoulder strap for convenience.

Kumanokoido - Camouflage Oskana - Inspired by the packaging used to sell fresh fish at grocery stores, Junichi - the mind behind kumanokoido - decided to create his own version. This adorable fish is made from deadstock camouflage, fabric sourced from around the world, and is plastic wrapped onto a styrofoam backing.

Nepenthe New York x Senshu Towel -  These collaborative towels are emblazoned with “NEPENTHES NEW YORK” on one side, and “SAVE THE GARMENT DISTRICT” on the other. Senshu towels are bleached after the towels have been woven, resulting in a towel with excellent water absorption and a soft feel.
