Mafia Bags was created to manufacture sustainable and low-impact bags. Marcos Mafia, one of the founders, wanted a better way to carry his wetsuit to and from the beach. He drew inspiration from the durability of power kites he used as a professional kitesurfer and saw a way to avoid their disposal in landfills.

Mafia Bags started by repurposing donated sales into sturdy and lightweight tote bags. Since then, the company has expanded its product offerings.

The Engineered Garments Canvas Tote Bag and Canvas Carrier Bag use recycled cotton canvas for their material, remaining true to Mafia Bags' commitment to sustainability. Available in Natural and Olive, these simple bags are minimally branded, with a small Engineered Garments tag stitched to the inside.
