Engineered Garments x Easymoc Pt II - Releasing 08.12.22

Following their first collaboration last year, Engineered Garments has reunited with Easymoc to release a new collaboration product, the Easymoc in Taupe Suede, Black Lizard Embossed, and Dark Brown Crocodile Embossed.

There’s something special about each and every pair of Easymocs. Greg Cordeiro, the designer and founder behind Easymoc is an avid outdoorsman, and brings his love of nature and New England style to bear on the products he makes. All of Easymoc’s shoes are handcrafted in Lewiston, Maine - helping to preserve the region’s storied history of craftsmanship.

Which isn’t to say that there are no changes. Easymocs are constructed with an Ortholite Comfort Hybrid Recycled Footbed and top-of-the-line Vibram Camp sole for maximum comfort.

Once again, Engineered Garments designer Daiki Suzuki deploys his signature style on these shoes. Sourcing inspiration from American shoe manufacturers who used exotic materials on their loafers (python, crocodile, ostrich skin), the Engineered Garments x Easymocs feature embossed leather in python and crocodile prints in addition to the traditional suede.

The metal bit on the vamp constituted another Engineered Garments touch. Taking the place of the traditional leather laces, the brass bit gives a sense of formality to the pair, creating a fascinating contrast between casual and dressy. This juxtaposition is part of the Nepenthes philosophy - mixing high and low together for a product that is one-of-a-kind.

Handmade quality with unique design - the Engineered Garments x Easymoc are not to be missed.
