Introducing the Engineered Garments Spring Summer 2023 Nepenthes Special.
Each season, Engineered Garments produces a handful of items just for Nepenthes.
The Banded Collar Long Shirt, Field Shirt, Norwegian Cap, and 6 Panel Ball Cap are available this time.

6 Panel Ball Cap
Topping off the collection is the Engineered Garments 6 Panel Ball Cap. Made in the USA, this classic design features six ventilated panels, a padded sweatband, stitched brim, and adjustable snap-back construction. Daiki places a tonal script EG logo on the front for an understated atmosphere.

Available in Olive, Navy, and Black.

Field Shirt
The dramatic pockets on the Engineered Garments Field Shirt come from an old US military coverall. Daiki took the design from the jumpsuit and placed it on a shirt, retaining the shape of the original pocket-pleated patch pockets with a flap and two-button closure. The rest of the shirt’s construction comes from the Engineered Garments Work Shirt, including the collar, cover stitching, flat fell seams, and cat eye buttons.

The Field Shirt is ideal for those who like the Work Shirt but want to try a different construction. Available in Beige Superfine Poplin, Beige Superfine Poplin, and Blue Cotton Chambray.

Banded Long Collar Shirt<br />The Banded Long Collar Shirt is a modified version of the Banded Collar Shirt. Daiki eliminated details like the zip pocket and binocular strap for a simplified look on this updated design. Despite its minimalist appearance, there are several embellishments, like the placket that runs along the top half of the shirt before concealing the lower buttons and large side vents that facilitate easy access to pants pockets.

The shirt’s exaggerated proportions deliver a powerful look. Available in White 100’s 2Ply Broadcloth and Yellow / Blue Cotton Paisley Shirting.

Norwegian Pant
Years ago, Engineered Garments designer Daiki Suzuki took a trip to Oslo in the dead of winter, landing in the middle of a snowstorm. While there, he stumbled upon a pair of vintage Norwegian military pants at an army surplus store with eye-catching, slanted front flat pockets. Daiki expanded on the design to create the Engineered Garments Norwegian Pant using the pocket placement as the nucleus.

This item features four roomy 3D pockets: two on the front with snap closure and two on the back with button closure. Signature EG touches are incorporated everywhere, including the single pleat on the knee for range of motion, drawstring waistband, and gorgeous reinforcement stitching along the pocket array. Available in Olive Cotton Ripstop, Navy Cotton Ripstop, and Navy Highcount Twill.
