Minami Ando (@minamiando_nyc) is a full-time freelance ballet dancer, model, and stunt woman based in NYC. She has been featured in Madonna’s Hung Up on Tokischa music video, GQ Thailand for BULAN, A24’s Beauty of the Beast by makeup artist Emily Schubert, People Magazine, Pap Magazine, Sephora, Spencer’s, and more. Her documentary City Swan, directed by Myong-Hun Oh, premiered on NOWNESS. She also has background acting experience in feature films such as A Complete Unknown and HBO Max’s The Penguin. Known for her improvisation and stamina, she has performed live at events including NYFW and Brooklyn Mirage with Jigitz.

Minami began ballet at age five, training at Mayumi Fujita Ballet School in Hiroshima, Japan, and later at Studios de Danse du PNSD Rosella Hightower in France. She graduated from the Joffrey Ballet School with a BFA in Music, Dance & Theatre from New Jersey City University, earning Cum Laude honors as a Merit Scholarship recipient. After graduation, she gained experience with a ballet company before shifting to freelancing.

She is currently performing at the Japanese Living Garden in Sea World San Antonio, Texas, through May 18, 2025.
